HQ.training vs Wodify
For boxes that coach more than the WOD
Wodify is a box owner’s system, founder-funded since 2012, with whiteboards, leaderboards and partner programming. Its list prices run from $199 to $499 a month, plus onboarding and add-ons. HQ is $59 a month and brings each member’s own training, from runs to rides, onto the gym’s account.

The short version
HQ is the better pick if
- You want one published price and no onboarding fee: $59 a month, against $199 to $499 at Wodify’s list prices.
- Your members train outside class, and you want their runs, rides, HRV and sleep from Garmin, Apple Health, Oura or WHOOP in one place.
- Your coaches write individual plans as well as the class workout.
- You want at-risk scoring on the plan you start with.
- You want the whiteboard, PRs and the TV board in the plan rather than as an add-on.
Wodify is the better pick if
- You want comments and likes on members’ scores, and lift and movement history in the member app.
- You buy programming from CompTrain, HWPO, PRVN or HYROX365 through its marketplace.
- You want two-way SMS and a website built for you.
- You want live class heart rate with Myzone belts.
- You need QuickBooks, or a ready-made Zapier app.

What sets them apart
The price you see
Wodify’s list prices are $199, $299 and $499 a month, with $100 off for demos booked by 31 October 2026. Onboarding is a separate fee it doesn’t publish, and Perform, the website and unlimited automations are add-ons below Ultimate; the branded app is an add-on on every tier.
The class, or the member
Both run the class whiteboard: the workout, scores, PRs and a leaderboard on the TV. Wodify is built around it. HQ is built around each member’s training as well, including what they do outside class, from a plan their coach writes to the run their watch recorded.
Wearables
Wodify shows live heart rate in class through Myzone belts you buy. HQ reads what members already wear, Garmin, Apple Health, Oura, WHOOP, Fitbit and Withings, and turns it into fitness, fatigue and form.
Where Wodify is ahead

Questions
- Can I track water intake from a LARQ bottle?
- Yes. Pair your LARQ Bottle PureVis 2 directly over Bluetooth in the HQ.training iOS or Android app, without LARQ’s cloud or Apple Health. See estimated water intake and a seven-day chart on your private profile, with optional bottle calibration. Account sync and Apple Health export imports are also available.
- Can I connect Eight Sleep?
- Yes. The unofficial beta imports your own sleep reports, stages and reported biometrics, and provides a private Pod dashboard. Temperature, schedule and alarm controls are supported; base, pillow and audio controls depend on what your hardware and account report. It works without Apple Health. Sleep Agent, Health Check alerts, proprietary Autopilot algorithms and device setup remain in the Eight Sleep app. Physical Pod 5/6 validation is still pending.
- Can HQ run the class whiteboard?
- Yes. Coaches write the day’s workout, members log Rx or Scaled scores on the web or their phone, benchmarks mark PRs, and a TV board shows the leaderboard by class and for women and men. Comments and likes on scores aren’t there yet.
- Does HQ charge an onboarding fee?
- No. Gym & Studio is 14 days free, then $59 a month.
- Does HQ work with Myzone belts?
- No. HQ reads members’ own Garmin, Apple Health, Oura, WHOOP, Fitbit and Withings data rather than class heart-rate belts.
